14/02 Thierry Flajoliet, 1ère conférence DED&M Paris 14/02/2013 Thierry Flajoliet, Directeur CMO-CIO Strategies au BIT Analyst Group, a représenté le cabinet à la 1ère conférence Digital Enterprise Design & Management que le CESAMES (Center Of Excellence on Architecture, Management & Economics of the Systems) a organisée à Paris les 12 & 13 février 2013. 150 délégués des 3 grandes régions Europe, Amériques et Asie ont écouté 24 présentations regroupées en 3 thèmes: (1) Digital Economy; (2) Digital Corporate Governance; (3) Architecture & Engineering of Digital Business. Sylvain Lafrance of Radio Canada, the Canadian public media group in French language (TV, Radio, Internet) explained how he transformed from 2005 onwards a set of independent media silos into a successful integrated digital media company with great content, Jean-René Lyon, CEO, MphasiS Wyde presented a systemic view and a framework of where and how the digital transformation plays in the enterprise, Nicolas Colin, the co-author of the book “L’âge de la Multitude” with Henri Verdier explained how software – in the broad acceptance –is eating the world, and how the power of the crowd is changing the rules of the economic game in the digital age, Ichiro Satoh of the National Institute of Informatics, Japan, presented the new value chain of the Carbon Emission Credits, using customer driven leverage through RFID/ Codes on products, Jerry Luftman, Global Institute for Information Technology Management, USA, presented a state of the art view as to how to align IT and Business organizations through equal to equal cooperation and a drive towards mutual respect and understanding, Fernando Iafrate, Senior Manager Business Intelligence, EuroDisney, France, explained how near real time BI with “zero latency” transformed the performance in the park, and gave powerful decision tools to operations, by fully embedding decisonal & operational BI, Richard Baskerville, Professor, Georgia State University, USA, walked us through a very interesting view as to how the new “bindpoints” in the extended enterprise will require us to use new tools in order to support the new enterprise as an Experiential Design Platform, François Bourdoncle, CTO, Exalead, Dassault Systèmes, demonstrated how the performance of Search Based Applications and the science / technology of Big Data opens up a new era for the companies, Patrick Starck, CEO and Daniel Pays, CTO, CloudWatt, France, explained how IaaS can transform the company’ business model and performance when using storage and compute in the cloud, Carine Dartiguepeyrou, Institut Mines Télécom and Fondation Télécom, France, presented some of the findings of the think tank « Digital Future » of the Fondation Télécom (Accenture, Google, Orange, BNP Paribas, Sopra…) moving from Open Innovation to Open Enterprise,
Dietman Fauser, Amadeus, France, Head of Architecture, Quality and Governance, explained how innovation allows to always push the limits of customer satisfaction even in extremely complex environments and very high performance transaction systems, combining the strengths of the traditional CMMI framework and the Agile methods, Paul Timmers, European Commission, DG for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG Connect), presented the strategy and practical projects in the areas of IT, Healthcare, and Smart Cities.
